Tablecloth: Turgite, Iridescent Hematite, — Graves Mountain, Georgia, USA — EX Robert Plant — Original Color
This design begins with my photograph of a very fine specimen of Turgite, Iridescent Hematite, from Graves Mountain, Georgia, USA. By reflecting and repeating its crystal forms, I gave the image a new symmetry. Across the design, the mineral’s colors and intricate details form a pattern that still reveals the remarkable rock where it began.
