Tablecloth: Rhodonite — Hillman Museum, Pittsburgh, Peru
This design begins with my photograph of a very fine specimen of Rhodonite from Peru. This is one of few that is not in my collection, but is in the Hillman Museum in Pittsburgh, PA. I took this and made scarf for the then curator. By reflecting and repeating its crystal forms, I gave the image a new symmetry. Across the tablecloth, the mineral’s colors and intricate details form a pattern that still reveals the remarkable rock where it began.
60" × 60" square tablecloth, sized for many tables seating 2–4 people. Polyester and cotton canvas blend (75% polyester, 25% cotton), printed on one side, with stitched edges and a spill-resistant surface.
Machine wash cold. Do not bleach. Tumble dry low or hang dry. Available for shipping within the United States.
