Cut and Sew All Over Print T-Shirt
Shirt: Quartz, Rutile Included (Rutilated) — Alexander County, North Carolina, USA — Original Color
This design begins with my photograph of a very fine specimen of Quartz Rutile Included (Rutilated) from Alexander County, North Carolina, USA. By reflecting and repeating its crystal forms, I gave the image a new symmetry. Across the design, the mineral’s colors and intricate details form a pattern that still reveals the remarkable rock where it began.
