Tablecloth: Primary Malachite , Azurite, with Cuprite — Bisbee, Cochise County, Arizona, USA — EX Yale University — Original Color
This design begins with my photograph of a very fine specimen of Azurite, Primary Malachite, with Cuprite from Bisbee, Cochise County, Arizona, USA. EX Yale Collection, circa 1897. By reflecting and repeating its crystal forms, I gave the image a new symmetry. Across the design, the mineral’s colors and intricate details form a pattern that still reveals the remarkable rock where it began.
