Croom Acrylic was the first Acrylic House Paint to be manufactured and sold to the public in the USA and probably the world in 1954. I worked for them as a color matcher, paint chemist, and store manager two decades later and the patterns are derived from series of the colors on the color machine dispersing in the paint at the point of sale between 1984 and 1990 .
