This design begins with my photograph of a very fine specimen of Calcite from Moncure, Chatham, North Carolina, USA. This is an inverted color of the specimen taken under UV longwave light and then inverted. So you see the original specimen, the specimen under UV and the inverted color of the UV. Very cool
By reflecting and repeating its crystal forms, I gave the image a new symmetry. Across the design, the mineral’s colors and intricate details form a pattern that still reveals the remarkable rock where it began.
60" × 60" square tablecloth, sized for many tables seating 2–4 people. Polyester and cotton canvas blend (75% polyester, 25% cotton), printed on one side, with stitched edges and a spill-resistant surface.
Machine wash cold. Do not bleach. Tumble dry low or hang dry. Available for shipping within the United States.
